podman push have the ability to automatically retry when pushing images : https://docs.podman.io/en/latest/markdown/podman-push.1.html#retry-attempts

podman-manifest-push does not, although it's a very similar operation.

Suggest potential solution

Being able to specify a number of retries when doing podman manifest push

Examine the implementation of retry in `podman push` (likely in `cmd/push.go` or `pkg/`). Find the equivalent manifest push command in `cmd/manifest/push.go`. The feature requires adding a ` retry` flag similar to push, parsing it, and passing it to the underlying push logic. Check the manifest push function call chain in `pkg/domain/infra/abi/` to see where retries are handled. Also update the documentation in `docs/source/markdown/podman manifest push.1.md` to include the new flag.
