Description

When opening a new tab from a link in an existing tab, the newly opened tab sometimes fails to close when the “X” on the tab bar is pressed. This behavior appears random.

Observed behavior:

  • The “X” button does not close the tab.
  • In some cases, the entire tab bar becomes unresponsive.
  • In other cases, only the single tab fails to close.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Open a tab.
  2. Click a link that opens in a new tab.
  3. Attempt to close the new tab by clicking the “X” in the tab bar.
  4. Observe that the tab occasionally fails to close.

Expected result

Clicking the “X” should always close the selected tab. The Tabs Bar should not lock up.
