This bug is really annoying.
It can be repreduced by following these steps:
- Install the extension (on a Mac)
- Log in to https://web.whatsapp.com/
- Enter a conversation
- Scroll up using the TouchPad
For some reason, it keeps firing the event even though an overscroll never made.
