Author features:

• AI-assisted story outlining and structure suggestions
• Paragraph and chapter generation assistance
• Grammar, spelling, and punctuation review
• Style, tone, and readability improvements
• Vocabulary and lexical enhancement suggestions
• Plot, dialogue, and character development recommendations
• Title, synopsis, and blurb generation
• Consistency checks for characters, timelines, and world-building

• AI-generated story summaries
• Chapter recaps
• Character and relationship explanations
• Reading insights and recommendations
• Question answering about story content
• Personalized reading suggestions

The goal is to integrate AI throughout the platform to improve content creation, editing, discovery, and reader engagement while keeping authors in full control of the generated suggestions.

Also, we can leverage RAG! ideas e.g.

• "Ask the story" — chat panel where reader asks questions about plot, characters, lore, and gets answers grounded in that story's text.
• Semantic search — "find scenes where X happens" across a story or a whole series, instead of keyword search.
• Recap/"previously on" — auto-generated summary of prior chapters when a reader resumes, grounded in what they've already read (avoids spoilers ahead).
• Character/lore glossary lookup — click a character name, get an AI-generated bio pulled from everywhere they appear.
• Similar story/chapter recommendations — embed stories and recommend by semantic similarity, not just tags/genre.
• Author Q&A bot — for finished/abandoned series, let readers ask "what happened to X" grounded in author's notes + published chapters.
