Hello,

Both drivers/gpio/gpio_stm32.c and drivers/gpio/gpio_npcx.c drivers are based on the gpio-controller DT structure, however since they use the raw GPIO_PORT_PIN_MASK_FROM_NGPIOS macro, they lack of "gpio-reserved-ranges" property support.

This enhancement has been added in the PR https://github.com/zephyrproject-rtos/zephyr/pull/56295

Examine the referenced PR #56295 to understand how gpio reserved ranges support was added to other drivers. Then, study the drivers/gpio/gpio stm32.c and drivers/gpio/gpio npcx.c files to identify where GPIO PORT PIN MASK FROM NGPIOS is used and how to replace it with a call to the new reserved ranges handling. The issue is already assigned, so check with the assignees before starting work.
