Description

A list of possible organisations or projects to include (list originally by Nahuel):

  • elementary OS and most of its apps (if not all of them)
  • GNOME (for some apps): https://github.com/orgs/GNOME/repositories?language=vala&q=&type=all
  • DocuMatrix (for... dmlib? at least the open source part, dblib, and dm_logger)
  • radare (for ragui... whatever that is, and they seem to have a Vala interpreter?)
  • ev3dev (has some projects, and seems to officially support Vala for using their libraries)
  • Frida (mainly at frida-core)
  • Kangaroo (propietary I think, but its blog points that is written in Vala)
  • Birdfont
  • Coanda (for dactl, hasn't been active since 2020 though?)
  • Manjaro (for pamac)
  • XFCE
  • Enso OS (just found out about it recently)
  • ExpidusOS (unfinished but significant work has been done so far)
  • Nuvola Player (has entered maintenance mode)
