Description
Parallels Desktop has a feature where it allows administrators to set certain restrictions and lock them down with a password, like restricting the ability to create new VM's, cloning VM's, deleting VM's and some other things.
It would be great if UTM would have the ability to have this. Incorporating it by setting a password in the application is hard, but a seemingly easy way would be to use configuration profiles to set this up. It is very easy to set up configuration profiles for third party apps using iMazing Profile Editor: https://apps.apple.com/nl/app/imazing-profile-editor/id1487860882?l=en&mt=12. Many Mac apps have this ability.
This would make UTM actually usable for enterprise since it would be easy to deploy settings to many devices at once. It would also allow people who share their Mac with other people to restrict what they can do with UTM.
