Triage 8 non-public Thunderbird KB drafts (publish / update / archive / delete)

There are 8 legitimate but non-public articles in the Thunderbird KB that need a triage decision: publish, update, archive, or delete.

All 8 return HTTP 404 to anonymous requests on both /api/1/kb/<slug> and /en-US/kb/<slug> (checked 2026-08-04), so none are reachable by users today. What that 404 does not tell us is why — archived, no approved revision, or otherwise restricted are indistinguishable from outside. That needs a look in the SUMO admin UI per article.

1. Delete invalid-certificates — it's a misfiled support question, not article content.
2. Assess troubleshoot-pdf-and-email-issues-thunderbird for whether it's a genuine contribution worth editing or filler worth removing.
3. For the remaining 6, decide publish / update-then-publish / archive. recovering-thunderbird-openpgp-secret-key-dataloss looks like the highest-value one to resolve first.

How these were found

While building an automated markup audit of the Thunderbird KB, an authenticated article listing returned 10 more articles than the anonymous one. Two of those 10 were spam (tracked separately); these are the other 8.

The content of all 10 is deliberately excluded from the public thunderbird/sumo-linter corpus snapshot, since publishing unpublished KB content in a public repo would be inappropriate. They are listed individually in that repo's .gitignore.
