I have a Playstationeye camera with 4 microphones and I cannot get it to monitor. I try "windows WASAPI", "Windows DirectSound" and "MME". I go to the microphone icon and to "start monitoring" and nothing happens. With WASAPI, after "start monitoring" I get an error " Error opening recording device. Error code: -9997 Invalid sample rate."

Additional information (please complete the following information):

  • OS: Windows 10
  • Version 9d77ac commit id.... but it also failed by using the audacity source from a few weeks?? ago
  • Windows WASAPI, USB CAMERA-B4.09.24.1 "Playstationeye"

Additional context I didn't want to install audacity so I don't know if it worked originally. but it did work on my ubuntu install in the same hardware
