Description

Is there a way to trigger updateItem without leaving row edit mode?

When I tried:

$(JS_GRID_SELECTOR).jsGrid('updateItem')

'onItemUpdating' function get executed but the DOM of the row goes back from edit mode to read only mode.

Let me know if there is a way to do that.

Investigate the jsGrid source code, particularly the updateItem method and the row edit mode lifecycle. Look at how the DOM is switched between edit and read only modes. Consider adding an option to stay in edit mode after update. Check the existing events and methods in the public API.
