Error Environment:

  • Python 3.6.1
  • Termux (latest)
  • OxygenOS (latest)

A lot of people might wonder why I try to install it on my phone, but it's an easy way to quickly test something on the go, and I always have it with me. It's also the only Linux device I own, so it was the only place I could install uvloop on.

The issue is a build failure on aarch64. The error log (hastebin link likely dead) indicates compilation issues possibly with uvloop or picohttpparser. Investigate the build system (setup.py, Makefile) and any platform specific flags. Check if there are known fixes for aarch64 support in uvloop or the C extensions. Consider adding conditional build configuration for aarch64 or updating dependencies.
