Research direction

The issue mentions no files, tests, or entry points, so first determine whether sql.js has existing release or fork-maintenance automation to build on. The request does not define an implementation scope or acceptance criteria, so completion would require agreeing on an automated update workflow for custom SQLite extensions.

Description

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone has figured out a good way to stay up-to-date with the main project's releases while maintaining a fork with custom SQLite extensions? By "good", I mean as low maintenance as possible. So if it is fully automated, that's ideal.
