Description

The d3-specific and purely visual test doc is no longer sufficient. We need a real unit tests that run in IE8 (maybe QUnit?).

Examine the existing test document mentioned in the issue (likely test/index.html or similar) to understand current structure. Review the aight source files under the 'src' or 'lib' directory to identify each shim/sham that needs unit tests.
