Describe what you noticed and did

Install chrome (running lastest windows 11) Start it once, do a few things install sandboxie, not portable (first time without reboot, seond with reboot now) did not make a difference image

How often did you encounter it so far?

Always when starting default icon Sandboxed Web Browser

win 11 Pro 22H2

A local account (Administrator).

1.9.8 64bit

Is it a new installation of Sandboxie?

I recently did a new clean installation.

Is it a regression?

No, first use on new PC

In which sandbox type you have this problem?

Not relevant to my request.

Can you reproduce this problem on a new empty sandbox?

Not relevant to my request.

Did you previously enable some security policy settings outside Sandboxie?

No.

Just to be sure, not running Sandboxie itself (GUI), but trying to run the default browser throug the installed icon "Sandboxed Web Browser"

Research direction
Start by reproducing the issue with Chrome and Bitdefender Total Security on Windows 11. Examine the Sandboxie driver (SbieDrv.sys) and how it intercepts process creation. Check if the issue is related to Bitdefender's real time protection. Look at existing code in the sandboxie repository for handling of third party security software. Review the comments in this issue for additional user feedback. Potential areas: process creation hooks in the driver, or the service process (SbieSvc.exe).
