Description

  • Step 1 is to further refine this by coming up with more of an example that can be usable and extendable by Hackathon attendees.
  • Microsoft Login Integration.
  • Microsoft Graph API integration example: The current candidate for the API integration example is to replicate something like the Google Drive integration example, but with OneDrive. This is tentative depending on how easy or hard it is going to be to get scope permissions from MS. Google hasn't been easy to deal with when it comes to Google Drive permissions for new apps, and hopefully MS would be easier to work with. Idealy the example should include e2e tests, including recorded fixtures (see test/teasting.md and the existing tests in test/e2e/... for examples).

Research direction
Review the existing Google Drive integration (likely in routes/auth.js or similar) for patterns. Examine the OAuth configuration in config/ to understand how to add a new provider. Check the test/e2e/ directory for example test cases with recorded fixtures. Also, look at the passport setup for Microsoft authentication strategy (passport azure ad or similar).
