Research direction

Find the Allocator trait in the Rust standard library documentation (likely in std::alloc). Look for existing examples in the source code or documentation for similar traits. Create a simple example showing how to implement and use a custom allocator, perhaps for a Vec or Box. Test the example in a playground to ensure it compiles and runs. The goal is to add the example to the official docs so users can experiment.

Description

A-allocators A-docs C-enhancement T-libs

Looking to do some quick playground experimentation with Allocator, I noticed that we don't actually have any examples. It would be good to give users a demo to play with and get this into the same release (ahhhh).

@nia-e I figure you probably have at least two hundred examples written up and ready to go
