Description

Problem

vercel CLI commands produce verbose output that wastes tokens in AI coding assistants.

  • vercel --yes --prod — deploy logs repeat build step output (bundling, routes, ready) that are mostly noise
  • vercel project ls — table format with padding that could be compressed

Evidence

rtk discover reports 30 vercel commands in the last 30 days (19 vercel --yes --prod, 11 vercel project ls), currently unhandled.

Suggested approach

Add a vercel filter similar to existing npm/npx filters:

  • deploy: strip ANSI, compress repeated build lines, keep final URL + status
  • project ls: compress table output
  • general: strip spinner/progress animations
