Feature Description

Claude Code is the agent we all use and the reference for every other integration. It has
never been verified as a release gate, and the agent integration contract refactors underneath it.

Proposed Solution
  • install.sh --claude-code verified on all four install targets
  • Settings patch is idempotent; revert restores the original file byte for byte
  • A full session produces typed events with correct input / cache-read / cache-write /
    output token counts and cost
  • Long tool calls and thinking blocks do not stall the client (regression test for #926)
  • CLAUDE_CODE_DISABLE_NONESSENTIAL_TRAFFIC interaction documented — auto-update
    downloads exceed the proxy's 1 MiB frame cap
  • No behaviour change after the agent-contract refactor

Part of the Cortex v0.9.0 release.
