Ho to reproduce

  • Open Responsively
  • Right-click on a device -> Inspect
  • Devtools appear showing current website HTML
  • Go to the navigation bar and browse to another website
  • Devtools maintain previous content

The devtools are not refreshing when navigating to a new page. Investigate how devtools are attached to the webview in responsively app. Check the webview's devtools attachment code, likely in src/main or similar. The issue might be that the devtools remain bound to the original page's webview reference even after navigation. Look for any event listeners that should update the devtools target when the URL changes. The repository uses Electron's webview tag; examine how the devtools are opened and if they listen for 'did navigate' events.
