The current implementation is still built around the now deprecated osm2vectortiles - so let's switch it to its successor OpenMapTiles!

Research direction
The issue requires adapting the Renderer. generateDrawOrder function in src/Renderer.coffee to match the new OpenMapTiles tile schema. Additionally, styles need to be adapted from the OpenMapTiles styles. The issue is old and has no recent activity, so a newcomer should first check if the project is still active and if this migration is still desired. The repository uses CoffeeScript, so familiarity with that is needed.
