Description
I just discovered steamz and think it looks great. However, when I try to run some of the sample code in a Jupyterlab notebook, I experience some strange behavior where the I sometimes get output of "Output()" and then, when running a subsequent cell, get the output of the previous cell. This only happens in Jupyterlab not a Jupyter notebook.

(I also had the same behavior using the docker container PR)
