With #824 , the fueltype for gas powerplants in powerplants.csv has been changed with OCGT/CCGT because currently the modelling links costs by carrier. However, costs depend on carrier and technology. In the future this may be revised.

Examine the current generator cost function in the codebase to understand how costs are linked by carrier. Investigate the changes introduced in PR #824 regarding gas powerplant fueltypes and determine how to extend the cost function to differentiate by both carrier and technology.
