Research direction
Start by tracing the existing SSL-context certificate-validation callback support in the Python wrapper, then compare its entry point with OpenSSL's X509_STORE_CTX_set_verify_cb() API. Identify the relevant test coverage for callback configuration and invocation; done means callers can configure the certificate path-verification callback with behavior covered by tests.

Description
Would be great if the possibility to configure callback function for certificate path verification was added (similar functionality currently is available for the cert validation in SSL context).
