Description

I'm having issues setting up Karabiner-Elements without interfering with my Hammerspoon shortcuts.

I have many shortcuts set up with Hammerspoon using for example Command + some other key. However when I activate "modify events" on my keyboard, Hammerspoon doesn't register the shortcuts anymore.

The only thing I want to modify is setting CapsLock to be Escape and Control when held. This works when I activate "modify events". Is there maybe a way to just modify a single key? Or Pass all other events to Hammerspoon?

System: Sonoma 14.1.2 Hammerspoon Version 0.9.100 KE 14.13 Keyboard: Apple internal keyboard Macbook Air

Investigate how Karabiner Elements modifies key events in its event handling pipeline. Look at the source files in src/core/grabber/ and src/core/manipulator/ to understand the order of modifications. Check if there is an existing option to apply modifications only to specific keys.
