Description

Hi OpenGrok,

When working with several projects sometimes I only want a handful of the repositories/branches, as such this enhancement request features the following features.

  • The ability to save the current list of sources selected
  • Recall previously saved sources lists

Bonus features:

  • The ability to favourite searches in a similar mechanism

Investigate the current implementation of source selection in the OpenGrok web interface and backend storage. Determine how to persist user preferences (e.g., using cookies, localStorage, or a database). Design a UI to save and recall source lists, and optionally favorite searches. Look at existing patterns in the codebase for user settings.
