Research direction

Start by reading the TC39 AsyncContext proposal and the linked Node.js issues 46369, 46265, and 46262, then review the revived diagnostics issue 375. Done means discussing Node.js integration and agreeing on next steps at a diagnostics meeting.

Description

never stale

The TC39 proposal AsyncContext https://github.com/tc39/proposal-async-context has reached Stage 2 today. I'd like to bring the topic up again at the diagnostics meeting to discuss the integration of Node.js with the proposal and the next steps for it.

This is a revival of https://github.com/nodejs/diagnostics/issues/375.
