Research direction

Open docs/getting-started/local.md and find the npm command using -g. Update it to the current --location=global form for Node-RED 3.x, then review the getting-started instructions to confirm the deprecated option is gone.

Description

More recent npm (anything that'll work with Node-RED 3.x) has deprecated -g, so new users will get a benign warning. Might be worth applying sandpaper to that initial user experience :-).
