Research direction

Start by reproducing the issue in the Files app: open the folder tree in the side panel and select a folder containing a nonempty readme.md. Trace the folder navigation and description-rendering entry points; done means the folder description appears when navigating through the tree, without changing the expected behavior elsewhere.
