Alternatively (or additionally), give activities multi-day capability. It's frustrating to have to record a different activity for each day of a vacation.

Research direction

Then examine the Activity model and database migration files (e.g., app/Models/Activity.php, database/migrations) to understand current schema. Look for any existing discussions or code that partially implements multi day support. Propose a schema change to allow date ranges for activities and update the relevant UI components.
