Yes, currently there is no way to manage, version, and package Power Platform tests as a resource type within the context of a Power Platform solution.

This limitation makes it difficult to maintain consistency and control over test assets as solutions are deployed between development, test and production environments.

Describe the solution you'd like

Introduce Power Platform tests as a new resource type within the Power Platform solutions This feature should allow users to:

  • Manage tests as resources, similar to other resource types.
  • Version tests to keep track of changes and updates.
  • Integrate with native source control integration
  • Ensure package tests are part of the solution being deployed, ensuring that test management, versioning
  • Apply one or more categories to a test so that different environments can determine which tests should be executed.
