Description

main thing is support for translating keyboard events between operating systems and layouts via https://github.com/octalmage/robotjs (or more specifically my fork https://github.com/maxogden/robotjs/tree/keyupdown)

Research direction
Investigate how keyboard events are currently handled in screencat for macOS, and study the robotjs library (especially the keyupdown fork) to understand how to map keyboard events cross platform. Then, implement similar functionality for Windows and Linux.
