Description

Steps to reproduce the behavior

  1. Verify you have random icons enabled.
  2. Create a new empty board.
  3. Notice the board has no icon.

Expected behavior

A new board should have a random icon if the setting is enabled.

Edition and Platform

  • Edition: Plugin
  • Version: 7.2 (latest main at the moment)
  • Browser and OS: Firefox

Investigate the board creation flow in the frontend codebase, likely in the Redux store or React components that handle board creation. Look for where the random icon is supposed to be assigned when the setting is enabled. Check the relevant setting key and ensure it is read during board creation. Review the board creation reducer or action to see if the icon is being set conditionally. Also check if there have been recent changes to the board template or default icon logic that could have introduced this bug.
