we should add these :D if you do them to the tag it changes the video thats playing. also would be cool if they broadcasted to remote players too

Research direction
Review the playback source code to understand how the video element is rendered and controlled. Implement CSS filter application to the <video> tag, possibly via a settings menu or command. For broadcasting, research how playback communicates with remote players; this might be out of scope for a first time contributor.
