Research direction

The issue names no files, tests, or entry points. Start by mapping how home mounts, authentication, and file-opening UI are handled, then define whether the Nextcloud mount, one-time login, and editable file flow are separate deliverables or one integration; done means the requested Nextcloud workflows function across the apps.

Wanted change

being able to use files from nextcloud directly in all apps with two features:

  1. "home-mount" -> Nextcloud as a possibility. -> one-time nextcloud login, which creates an app-pasword.
  2. UI-Integration for Nextcloud: an addon which allows to open a file from nextcloud -> updating it in the end.

feature 2 could also be a combination with feature 1. -> the user has his nextcloud mounted using webdav inside his "home" and the UI just sends the app the location of the file to open, so he can directly write to it.

Reason for change

Better File-Handling.
Having a combination of Nextcloud / Weboffice and Desktop Apps as an "all-in-one" workspace.
