Description

Is there an older version of xed 3.8.4 that actually respects the user settings, so I can downgrade to it? Because 3.8.4 is freaking annoying! I've set it NOT TO add an empty line in the end of every document but it keeps doing it anyway! The most annoying part is that it adds an empty line in existing files that were previously created with gedit (gedit is soon going GTK4, so I decided to move to xed which is still GTK3 (thank Ra!)). If you open xed to write a new file, it keeps it to one line only. The new and empty line appears only in existing files!
If I wanted my choices to be ignored, I'd still be using Windows...
