Research direction
Start by locating Nemo's single-click navigation and pointer-hover selection behavior, then compare the requested behavior with Thunar's delayed hover selection. Determine the expected delay and how folders should be selected without changing single-click opening. Done means the behavior works consistently in single-click mode and does not interfere with normal pointer movement or double-click mode.

Description
Good day I have a suggestion regarding Nemo, I use the behavior open folders with a single click and I would like Nemo to do as Thunar that when putting the mouse over the folder select it automatically.
