Research direction

Reproduce a cold boot of God Hand or Virtua Fighter 4 Evo with the no-interlacing patch applied, and compare the requested aspect ratio with the no-interlace offset toggled. Then trace the core's no-interlacing patch and aspect-ratio handling; done means both games start at 1.333 regardless of the offset setting.

Description

The core requests 1.067 AR instead of 1.333 when loading God Hand or Virtua Fighter 4 Evo with no-interlacing patches applied. Did not happen in 1.22.2 stable LRPS2 snapshot. This can be mitigated by toggling no-interlace offset from off to on and vice versa, however, regardless of its setting, the game always starts in 1.067 from cold boot.
