Description

Hi all, I'm having a hard time installing rugged provider gem on a ubuntu16 with puppet5 client. I can install the deb package, but I need something that can be used by puppet provided ruby (2.4 vs 2.3 as provided by ubuntu).
/opt/puppetlabs/puppet/bin/gem install does not work even after installing all the needed devel packages (cmake, gcc, ruby etc..), because it uses libjson that in turn needs symbols that c++ libs provided by puppet does not have.
Any trick/suggestion that I can use to have rugged installed on ubuntu16 with puppet5?
