Description

Description: DevHands uses prompts to ask the LLM for refactoring suggestions. These prompts can be improved for clarity, consistency, and better diff output.

Tasks:

  • Locate the prompt template in LangchainAgent.explain_code()
  • Rewrite it to:
    • Include clear formatting rules (e.g., “Use unified diff format”)
    • Focus the LLM on SOLID principles (especially SRP and OCP)
    • Handle small vs. large files differently
  • Test prompt performance using small test files (tests/fixtures/)
