Description

Describe the bug We are trying to add tags dynamically to application load balancer.

Steps to reproduce helm install aws-load-balancer-controller eks/aws-load-balancer-controller --namespace kube-system --set clusterName=$EKS_CLUSTER_NAME --set vpcId=$VpcId --set region=$REGION --set defaultTags={"StackName":"MyStack"}

Tags are getting added to application load balancer but not in key value form. It is adding entire key value as value and key it is making as 0, 1, 2, etc. image Expected outcome A concise description of what you expected to happen. THis is what we are expecting by installing load balancer helm chart. image

Environment

  • AWS Load Balancer controller version
  • Kubernetes version 1.29
  • Using EKS (yes/no), if so version? yes , 1.29
  • chart version-v2.7.0
