Description

Have you all considered providing support for Twilio? The company creates APIs that allow users to send out texts and phone calls. Integrating it within Beacon wouldn't be too tough.

Integrating it would certainly cover all possible means of communication!

I could start work on it, too.

Examine the existing notification handlers in the Graphite Beacon codebase (e.g., alerts.py or handlers directory) to understand the pattern for integrating new communication channels. Study the Twilio Python SDK documentation for sending SMS and making calls. Check the issue comments for any additional requirements or feedback. Implement a new notification class that uses Twilio's API, following the same structure as existing integrations.
