Description

Describe the Bug

The data point callout appears to select sequential data points instead of time-synchronized data points. For example, see the images below. I expected to not have any callout for sc_synthA_closed_3 (green line) because the first element is not near the other two elements of _1 and _2 that I am examining.

In addition, moving my cursor to the right also shifts the _3 callout to the right as well. This means that if I am at the far right (near the current time), then I cannot see the callout for green.

To Reproduce

  1. Select sc_synthA_closed_1 _2 _3
  2. Set the date to be from about 2/28 to the current day. This will make the sc_synthA_closed_3 cell have a gap before it starts (due to that cell's logger not functioning during that time period).
  3. Move your cursor left and right to observe the de-synchronized data callout. Notice the small circles on each plot which shows which data points are currently being called out.

Expected Behavior

I think that the correct behavior would be to not show the data callout for points that are not in the same time-slice as my cursor.

Also, the placement of where the callout bubble should not be the average x-position between all of the selected data points. In the screenshots below, the callout bubble is roughly 1/3 of the way between the left two and right one data point circles. Instead, the callout bubble should be at my cursor.
