Expected Behavior

I expect the output image size to be close to the input image size after very small processing.

Current Behavior

The output image is twice as big.

Failure Information (for bugs)

It has nothing to do with the image resolution, in fact it's smaller. Other thing I noticed is the bit depth of the output image is higher.

Steps to Reproduce

Research direction
Investigate the write method in Jimp to understand how output file format and bit depth are determined. Compare input and output image properties for the given operations. Check for any default options that might increase bit depth. Look at the source code in packages/core/src/image/manipulation/write.js or similar.
