I commented a few days ago on issue #177 .

I think I have a way to add a responsive element into this package.

The basic idea is to add a few new properties to grid-item (smallH, smallW, mediumH, mediumW, largeH, largeW) that will allow users to assign different widths and heights based on screen size. grid-layout can then be modified to use matchMedia (https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/API/Window/matchMedia) and resize the grid-items as needed. Would this be an acceptable solution?

Research direction
