There is no mention in CONTRIBUTING.md of compareArray or the other helpers, let alone how or when to incorporate them.

Review the CONTRIBUTING.md file at the root of the repository. Locate where `compareArray` and similar helper functions are defined, likely in the test suite's shared helper files. Add a new section in CONTRIBUTING.md that describes each helper's purpose and how to use them. Check the issue comments for any additional context or preferences from maintainers.
