API emit `Content-Type` header `application/json` instead of `application/x-ndjson` for streaming endpoints

Description

Using the /api/v0/ping api returns incorrect JSON.

This is not a valid way to represent an array of results, and cannot be read by a JSON parser. The content-type of the response is application/json, so I assume this is unintentional.
