I am opening this as a separate issue since the previous issue was closed with support for parent-child docs (https://github.com/elasticsearch/elasticsearch/issues/6019#issuecomment-77785163).

We would love to have support for min_children & max_children or similar also for nested filters/docs. http://www.elasticsearch.org/guide/en/elasticsearch/reference/current/query-dsl-has-child-filter.html#_min_max_children_2

調査方針
Investigate the Elasticsearch source code to understand how nested documents and the has child filter are implemented. The existing min children/max children support for has child queries is a reference. The goal is to extend similar functionality to nested queries. Key files to examine include NestedQueryBuilder, Filters, and related Lucene classes. The maintainers' comments in the issue (19 comments) may provide additional implementation hints.
