It would be cool to be able to specify which devices to notify what about, for example i've got a Macbook that has this "wakeup from sleep and check mails" feature, and this results in quite alot of notifications about it connecting and disconnecting.
I know it's really a non-issue, but putting it out there is never bad! :)
I guess people could find lots of interesting uses of this is implemented in a generic fashion.
