[Ubuntu Project] Add (describe) a glossary term: branch

Context

A new docs project that aims to consolidate all project-specific documentation. I.e. docs for the creators of the distro -- not its users. Historically, this documentation has been scattered over multiple wikis, various other docs sets, obscure places, or not written down at all. The goal of this effort is to fix this to enable contributors to access all of this content in one place, logically structured.

Task

The docs include a glossary of terms. Add the "branch" term and its definition (the term is already included in the glossary, but it lacks a definition).
