Hardcover API returning nothing

Thanks for your work on the metadata side of things, it has been fantastic. Apologies if the below isn't the right place for this.

I have grown pretty tired of G---R--- metadata and wanted to switch over to using hardcover. I've booted up a new instance of R--- input your public api url for hardcover and then scaned my directories. This apparently ran fine.

Issue is that nothing is added to the library, everything is unmapped. I can't add any authors manually, nothing gets returned. Which I feel as odd as I went through great pains to make sure that everything already has rich metadata in the file, through calibre.

Am I supposed to be setting up my own local instance for hardcover?
